Notice that it is called the sunshine award. I'm not sure what that is suppose to mean, but if it is insinuating that I am a barrel of sunshine, my family would probably disagree.

Regardless, here are the rules:

Okay. Here goes...


Favorite Color?  Blue.


Favorite Animal? I love puppies and even have a board on Pinterest called Puppy Love. Katelyn thinks it's unnessesary, but I beg to differ.


Favorite Number? I suppose it could be 4 because I have 4 children or maybe 32 because that is the size, in ounces, of Diet Coke I like to drink, but truthfully, I think having a favorite number is just weird.


Favorite Drink? I just answered that. I would love to drink Coca-Cola Classic, i.e., drink of the Gods, but too much sugar is not good for my waistline (bonus information).


Facebook or Twitter? Facebook. I've never tried tweeting and probably never will.


My passion? Let me think. Hmmm. Peanut Buster Parfaits? Blogging? Watching Survivor? I suppose it depends on the moment.


Giving or getting presents? Giving, for sure. It's one of the reasons I enjoy Christmas so much.


Favorite day? Thursday. Wanna know why? Because the next day is Friday!


Favorite Flower? I love pink or white carnations. (More bonus info...I hate marigolds.)

The following Blog on Fire Award was kindly given to me by Lizbeth at Four Sea Stars. If you haven't visited her blog, you really should. She tells it as it is and I love that about her.

Now I must tell you 7 things about me that you don't already know, then pass the award along. (By the way, if you have a blog and I am aware of it, you should be getting nervous about now.)


Here goes...


1) Once I walked around Las Vegas with an ice pack on my boob. Wanna know why? Faithfully read my blog and I may tell you someday. ;)


2) You might as well stick me in a gown from the renaissance era and put a tiara on my head, than ask me to wear a necklace or earrings. It isn't going to happen.


3) I have a time capsule I cannot open until the year 2014. (That seemed soo far away when I was putting it together.)


4) I use to worship Stevie Nicks until I saw her this year on NBC's The Voice. Now that she's freakin' old, not so much.


5) I have a love/hate relationship with thunderstorms.


6) I prefer pink carnations over roses.


7) I hate going to potlucks because there are always freeloaders and/or people who don't bring their fair share of food.


There you have it. Seven things that you didn't need to know about me, but learned anyway.

Carolina Heart Strings - Two friends, one in South Carolina and one in North Carolina. These women discuss a hodge podge of subjects, including autism.

Here are Jill's rules for the award. Due to language that may be offensive to my younger followers, I have edited things just a tad...

1. You must proudly display the absolutely disgusting graphic that I have created for these purposes. It's so bad that not only did I use COMIC SANS, but there's even a little jumping, celebrating kitten down there at the bottom. It's horrifying! But its presence in your award celebration is crucial to the memetastic process we're creating here.

2. You must list 5 things about yourself, and 4 of them must be bold-faced lies. Just make stuff up, we'll never know; one of them has to be true, though. Of course, nobody will ever know the difference, so we're just on the honor system here. I trust you.

3. You must pass this award on to 5 bloggers that you either like or don't like or don't really have much of an opinion about. I don't care who you pick, and nobody needs to know why. I mean, you can give a reason if you want, but I don't really care.

4. If you fail to follow any of the above rules, I will harass you incessantly until you either block me on Twitter or ban my IP address from visiting your blog. I don't know if you can actually do that last thing, but I will become so annoying to you that you will actually go out and hire an IT professional to train you on how to ban IP addresses just so that I'll leave you alone. I'm serious. I'm going to do these things.

Okay? So, now that I've stated Jill's (modified) rules, here are my 4 lies and 1 truth...

1)  I have breast implants.

3) I have never had an espresso, frapuccino or latte from Starbucks.
4) My belly button is pierced.
5) Jack Nicholson is my favorite actor.
