Chicken Bow Tie Salad

Chicken Bow Tie Salad is a favorite dish around our house. Since it is served cold, we especially like to eat it during the summer.


1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
2 cup bow tie pasta, cooked according to package and drained
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
1 Tablespoon chopped green onion
1/2 cup Hidden Valley Cole Slaw dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 dash thyme
1 pinch ginger

Stir carefully and refrigerate overnight.

Before serving, stir in...

1/4 cup diced celery
1 cup red seedless grapes, halved
1 cup unpeeled red apples, cubed
1/2 cup pineapple tidbits, drained (optional)
2 Tablespoons sliced almonds

Serve immediately.

This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for a crowd.
